I am not a big queen fan, like most people i know the hits and like the majority of them so when i started watching this it was just on in the background whilst i was doing other stuff. However fairly soon i noticed that i was watching the film more than i was doing the other stuff and soon i was sitting transfixed to the screen.
I liked ‘Rami Malik’ in Mr robot so i knew he was a pretty good actor but his portrayal of Freddie is amazing, eerie almost. The film deals with the early years of queen and is centred around Freddie’s personal life with its many ups and downs. We see the recording of bohemian Rhapsody and how the band pushed to get it released as a single.
What is truly amazing is the live aid sections, they have been recreated down to the smallest detail.
