This is a movie made by NETFLIX, loosely based upon the autobiography of the same name. It tells the story of Motley Crue, there rise to fame and all the things that they got up to and lived to tell the tales of.
As with most films of this type, they have taken some liberties and most likely some of the really juicy stuff just cannot be shown on screen but what we are left with is a raunchy story of sex, drug and rock’n’roll but they do include the scene with ozzy osbourne which has to be seen to be believed.
It’s a good film overall and it shows both sides of the lifestyle they chose and along with the epic highs and the soul destroying lows that came with it. When watching the film, look out for some other famous rock’n’roll stars from that era who appear but are not named.
By all accounts this is a group that should be dead given the way they lived there early lives, but they have had a recent revival and are as famous now as they were back in the eighties. Even the music has stood the test of time, well most of it has and they also recently toured north america.
